Tyto Software Private Limited is an innovative organization specializing in software automation products. We work out of our HSR Layout office in Bangalore in an informal but focused environment. Tyto was formally started in Dec. 2009 without external funding and is now a growing profitable business with a healthy customer base.
Sahi was born as an open source product in 2005 with specific focus on automation of emerging web 2.0 technologies but as a tool geared towards testers. With constant work over the past 6 years, Sahi has grown to be a powerful but easy to use tool for testers, handling with ease most complexities presented by modern web applications and browsers. Tyto initially was formed as an entity which provided commercial support to the open source product.
Sahi Pro was released in 2010 as a necessity was felt to move up in the innovation ladder and serve users better with prompt responses to queries. Innovation and polish needs focus and that can only be achieved through financial independence. Sahi Pro has been able to help us in that direction and a direct result has been support for technologies like Flex, applets, load testing etc.
Tyto is a small but growing organization with a team of talented, focused and hard working individuals coming together as a coherent power packed team. (And yes, we are hiring)
Web automation is going to be in demand, with lots of evolving technologies around it. Our focus has been to bring this automation to normal testing teams. We will continue to support newer browsers, newer technologies, handle HTML5, go on mobile, and do what ever it takes to enable your organization to smoothly and easily attain a high level of efficiency in your automation processes in the simplest possible way.
